Overview
This guide walks you through renewing licenses using the Texas Agriculture Portal (TAP). It covers both returning users and new users, including account creation, claiming existing accounts, and completing payment.
Prerequisites
- Email address associated with your existing BRIDGE account. If you don't have an existing BRIDGE account, the email address you want to use for your Texas Agriculture Portal account.
- Any existing license/registration details you may need to claim accounts.
- Payment method to complete renewal.
Steps
1. Returning users to TAP
- Go to https://tap.texasagriculture.gov
- Click the LOGIN button

- Login using the email you used to register to TAP
- Click the Manage/Renew License button

- Click the Renew button

- Click the Pay button next to your listed accounts in the grid

2. New users of TAP
- Go to https://tap.texasagriculture.gov
- Click the LOGIN button

- Click the link: No account? Create one

- When registering for the first time, please use the email address associated with your existing BRIDGE account, if available. You will be asked to verify your email by entering a code sent to that email.

- Register your new user in TAP. Only items marked with a red * are required.

- After registration, click on the Client Profile button to view any clients automatically brought in from your existing BRIDGE accounts. If you are missing an existing client, click the Claim Accounts button. Existing accounts may be claimed using your tax identification (sole proprietor or individual accounts), existing BRIDGE credentials, or by submitting a support ticket.

- Click on the home button and then click the Manage/Renew License button

- Click the Renew button

- Click the Pay button next to your listed accounts in the grid

Notes & Tips
If the Client Profile doesn’t show your existing licenses/registrations, use Claim Accounts and provide SSN or your legacy BRIDGE credentials to link them.
