Renew Licenses Using Texas Agriculture Portal

Overview

This guide walks you through renewing licenses using the Texas Agriculture Portal (TAP). It covers both returning users and new users, including account creation, claiming existing accounts, and completing payment.

Prerequisites

  • Email address associated with your existing BRIDGE account. If you don't have an existing BRIDGE account, the email address you want to use for your Texas Agriculture Portal account.
  • Any existing license/registration details you may need to claim accounts.
  • Payment method to complete renewal.

Renewal Process

1. Returning Users to TAP

  1. Go to https://tap.texasagriculture.gov
  2. Click the LOGIN button.

  3. Login using the email you used to register to TAP.
  4. Click the Manage/Renew License button.

  5. Click the Renew tile.

  6. To Renew a Single Account:

  7. Click the Renew button next to the account you would like to renew.

  8. System navigates to the Account Summary. Read through the note.

  9. If no changes are needed, scroll down to the bottom of that page and enter your Name and Title (can be anything). Click on Submit. Skip to Step 11 – Payment Process below.

  10. To Renew Multiple Accounts:

  11. Select the accounts that you would like to renew and click on Renew button at the bottom of the grid.

  12. Please enter your Name and Title (can be anything) and click on Submit.

  13. Payment Process:

  14. System navigates to the Payment Selection page with the account(s) listed for renewal payment. You can click on the chevron to expand and see the fee details.

  15. Please choose the Payment Type and click Next

  16. Please verify if all the details are correct in the Payment Summary page and click on Submit.

  17. On the Payment page, enter your Credit card/ACH details depending on the chosen payment type. If you chose to pay by credit card, please ensure you provide the billing address associated with the card to avoid payment failure. A payment receipt will be sent to the email address entered on this page. Click Submit to process your payment.

  18. When Payment is successful, you will see a confirmation page as shown below. Payment receipts can be viewed by clicking on the Bell icon too.

2. New Users of TAP

  1. Go to https://tap.texasagriculture.gov
  2. Click the LOGIN button.

  3. Click the link: No account? Create one.

  4. When registering for the first time, please use the email address associated with your existing BRIDGE account, if available. You will be asked to verify your email by entering a code sent to that email.

  5. Register your new user in TAP. Only items marked with a red * are required.

  6. System will retrieve all the accounts associated with the email address used to login if any. Choose the accounts you would like to claim access and click Claim.

  7. If no accounts were retrieved or if some accounts were missing, click on the Claim Accounts button. Existing accounts may be claimed using your tax identification number, existing BRIDGE credentials, or by contacting TDA. Please refer to the tutorial videos on how to claim accounts.

  8. Once you have completed claiming accounts, click on the home button and then click the Manage/Renew License button. You should be able to see the list of accounts you claimed.

  9. Click on one of the following links to see the steps for renewal.
